Our Promise to You

All North Cascade Dahlias are grown in the Pacific Northwest, nestled between the Salish Sea and Cascade Mountains.  Our climate of warm summer days and cool nights translates to a climate perfectly suited to grow healthy dahlias.  Our field is cultivated and managed to produce the highest quality tubers that we are proud to put our name on.

Our Guarantee to you is simple: We promise that our tubers will ship with at least 1 viable eye, be firm and healthy, and will be true to the variety characteristics of the variety ordered.

We do our best to ensure you are happy with your order, but in the (extremely) rare chance that your tuber does not meet these criteria, that you contact us within 2 weeks of receiving your order.  We strive for you to be satisfied with your plants, but we cannot be held liable for factors outside our control, including weather and soil conditions, neglect, or pest damage.  If a tuber produces a bloom that differs from the photo and description, please inform us, with a photo of the bloom, by August 15 of the growing season.

Please also remember that dahlia tubers are living organisms, not plastic widgets! Although we have a climate controlled storage facility, that is closely monitored, things can happen in storage.  We will NEVER list a tuber for sale that we do not have total confidence in, or that we do not have sufficient stock of.  In the event that a tuber you have ordered is not up to our standards at shipping time, we will make every effort to make it right, please see the resolutions below.

Policies

If you feel you have received a tuber that does not meet these standards, please do not hesitate to contact us.  Although we try to do our very best to ensure you are completely satisfied with your order, we have created these policies to resolve the rare occasions when tubers do not meet these criteria. Please note that we may request photos or other documentation regarding the issue, please do not discard any tubers without a response from us!  We are currently unable to refund shipping costs.

Please Note: this guarantee does NOT cover the following: Shallow planted tubers, tubers that have been used as a cutting parent, tubers planted in pots, tuber or plant loss due to weather/soil conditions, over/under watering, tubers that have been damaged by animals or insects, transplanted tubers, tubers planted in soil with incorrect pH or fertilization/nutrient availability, herbicide damage (including carryover from compost or other soil amendments).  Our guarantee only applies to the growing season in which tubers were received and is considered void if tubers are resold.

*Purchasing from our site will be considered an acknowledgement of these policies*

Resolutions

Dahlia Tuber was unable to be shipped due to storage/inventory issue:  We will contact you as soon as we know there is an issue. At this point, you will be able to have the tuber shipped to you the following year at no charge, or pick a replacement from any in stock tuber (of any value) on our website to be shipped in its place

Dahlia Tuber Arrived soft/rotten: Please contact us within 3 days of receiving your tubers if your order arrives with a soft/rotten tuber.  We may request a photo of the tuber.

Dahlia Tuber did not grow: Please contact us if your tuber has not emerged within 5 weeks after planting.  We are not responsible for tubers that rot after planting or were damaged by pests, weather and soil conditions or incorrect cultivation practices as noted above.  If an unviable tuber is found to have been shipped, we will provide a replacement of the same variety the following spring (or in some cases, immediately)

Dahlia tuber emerged, but never grew more than a few inches:  This is known as “stunting” and is due to a healthy tuber that emerged but was planted in poorly drained or too wet of soil.  We cannot be responsible for stunted tubers, as the rot has occurred after planting.

Dahlia Tuber Blooms do not match photo/description:  Incorrectly labeled tubers will be replaced free of charge the following spring, unless noted early enough in the current growing year.
